Default vrd FOGlights???

so I bought a pair of the VRD foglights off of someone on SL and of course a week later they FOGged up. The thing is...I bought them brand new from the guy on here. All packaging was perfect and the tape from VRD was still on the box. Is there anything I can do at this point? I thought these were supposed to be quality foglights, and I get fog whenever I wash my car...you've got to be kidding.

I know when I got mine, I was told to put some silicon sealant around the seams of the casing and glass...

Best bet now is to just remove them and let the moisture evaporate... then seal em up and pray for the best!

I know several people that have these foglights and haven't had problems, except for one person, but that was because the rubber boot that goes around the bulb harness wasn't seated properly. Make sure that boot is in there secure.

never had a problem with mine too...although that boot can come off rather easily sometimes. x493208, check that first.

There is a vent hole in the VRDs for this reason. They shouldnt be fogging up. VRD fogs are excellent quality and should not be fogging.

yeah I see the vent hole. I take it the rubber on the back was not on right. I let them vent out, and then put them back on with the rubber on the back sealed very well. I hope this doesnt keep up.
