Default VRD Fogs..

I recall that a while ago I heard that someone took their car over to vertex and had the VRD Fogs installed at their location. I was wondering if anyone knows if they're still doing this and, if so, can you take it in on the weekend and have it done?

Thanks alot.

Why don't you just install them yourself?

They're easy to install yourself with hand tools and a pair of jack stands, but if you want to save shipping costs and get them installed for free, that's an option as well.

if i lived near them i'd have it done for free and save on shipping to, but they really are easy to install. i haven't done much of the work on my new car(unlike my old car), but this is something i didn't mind doing and i didn't get aggrivated and a 1 hour install didn't turn into 6 hours, lol

uhm... what do you needs jackstands for??

just pop the faux vent covers, remove a little part of the plastic fender to reach the ground point and wire harness...

plug in, and wire it up and plug in the rest of the harness inside the car.

probably the easiest thing a person can ever install on a vehicle... (cause apparently there are a few people out there that have issues installing new dome lights and/or headlights.... )

i used jackstands for mine for saftey after i jacked it up so i could see and get to everything easier. i did exactly what the instructions told me to do even though alot of the pics were blurry or their printer was running out of ink...

i don't see how it is possible to pop the vents without jacking the car up. Especially if its lowered.

There are lots of lowered tC, and it makes it easier to run the wires when you can see what you are doing.

Reason I ask is its only about a 20 minute drive out to them...... and if theyre offering to install? why not?

Thanks for the info though.

**edit: Also, after having these installed I plan on getting the RS1 Lipkit (most likely, perhaps another lip kit) will there be any problems with these fogs and the lip kit that I'm not foreseeing?

Not that I'm aware of. The fogs should clear the RS1 lip, it's OEM-style lip kits you have to cut.
