Default VRD lower grill problem

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem..

When I went to go install my fogs a few weeks ago I noticed the my lower VRD grill was popping off..my first reaction was "wtf" and I popped it back on while I had the under panels off while installing my fogs.

Anyway, now almost everyday (or everytime I go over a bump pretty much) when I examine my lower grill it keeps popping off on the driver side and I can't get it to stay on no matter how hard I push it back in! I heard it snap on but it keeps doing it.

Anyone else no what might be going on? Haven't had the chance to get a closer look but I thought I would ask if anyone else has this problem?

BTW I've had the grill for about a year or so now and never noticed it before so I have no idea how long I was riding like that

You probably have a broken tab. If you look at the tabs on the bumper, they have a piece that raises up higher to snap the grill in place. If that becomes flush with the rest of the tab, it won't hold the grill.

No need to do any of that. Just take u some clear silicone and squeeze it into the groove of the grille and then pop it on. Let the silicone dry and ur done. No holes, no ghetto ties, and takes 2 mins. I did it to mine and have had no problems since.

Mine pops a lot since I curbed my bumper......twice......yeah just take it out and get some good epoxy or silicone and add a bit to the sides and reinstall and it will stay.I have a busted tab and it is in but will pop with out the glue......lol

before i curbed the bumper it was impossibel to get it out.

Mine fell out on the HYW, It slid to the shoulder of the hwy nice and safe and then some big a$$ lifted ford aimed for it and ran it over into pieces. I stopped picked up the pieces then took off and cought up to the truck and got infront of him and threw the remainding pieces out my sun roof at his truck. Bitter sweet revenge. hahaha.

I would use some one minute epoxy where there is two cheimcals that mix in the tube
and that grill of yours will never pop out at all. That and it drys clear and its like cement. Thats what im going to use next time I order one for my stock bumper again.
