Default VRD questions

hey guys. i just have a couple questions about vrd fogs. someone is selling me some vrd foglights but the thing is it doesnt come with the switch. he gave me this website to buy the switch....http://www.oznium.com/gsw-45...... my question is, do i have to use that specific switch, or can i just go to my local electronics store and buy my own from there for cheaper.

as in switches like these... http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&s...w=1280&bih=651....

he also said that the tc car has factory fog wiring that i can tap into easily. i have a 2010. is that true, like is it an easy install?

is there a thread somewhere on SL how installing VRD fogs? i cant seem to find it.

any help would be great.

I would think so as long as you had all the necessary components shown in the picture.

It's literally plug a play into ur stock harness' one will be located by driver side fog and the switch plugs into the harness by light switch pop the plastic piece out and reach in and pull the harness out and plug in..only problem u may run into is reverse polarity.. So if lights don't turn on reverse the wiring and re plug but ya it's pretty much that same I stall..I'd just make sure to get a switch that fits ur stock harness

If the ONLY thing missing is the switch like he said.. it should be able to work as long as you get a switch that fits the harness
