Well not really but he hit me for it as well,

I was heading south bound on I-15 towards San Diego when out of flippin no where a chippy pulls behind me! I was like holy mother of god…dad isn’t going to like this…

Any way he gave me a citation for going 90 mph in a 65mph zone (Bunch of bull sh88 really when not one dang person in South California travels at the speed limit). But the thing that it irriatated me the most was the fact that there are dozens upon dozens of cars with darker shade of tint then my 15 percent….


He told me that I have to remove the tint/ pay a fine/ then go to a station to show them I did remove it. The fee according to him is going to be ten dollars…

BUT!

As for the speeding ticket does anyone know if I can get a waiver for it in court? Since this is my first ticket?

He also mentioned something about a “point” what was he talking about?

15% is illegal in Cali? holy crap, lol, as for the ticket, yeah I got a 80 in a 55 back in aug., not very fun, I live in Vegas, it was my first ticket, refused to go to court, just paid the fine and said the hell with it...400 bucks as for points I dunno, I dont know how many I got for that, nor do I know how many your allowed lol, those with the most points win I think or atleast it should be...so much for wishes, but he stopped you for 90? My friend and I were just in Cali in Milipitas or however you spell it coming back to Vegas and we were doing 115 with the rest of the traffic! Hope your insurance for gives you...I know mine did

The fact that a billion other cars on the same highway had darker tints is what bothered me....

Did you willingly put illegal tint on your windows?

Becasue this is your first ticket, why sould they go easy on you? I love how some of you think all these cops are singleing you out. do you not think its fair?

Yeah, theres alot of other cars on the road that have illegal stuff on it, but he didnt pull them over, he pulled you over, and because hes doing his job, he ave you a ticket.

They just haven't gotten around to pulling them over yet; driving 90 mph made you a better source of revenue than the guy driving 75 mph in the next lane.

 

Yeah dude I got 89 in a 65 and I'm getting a lawyer, your insurance will go up out the a$$ if you don't get a lawyer and get it reduced or dropped or something.

 

Ummm... you're hiring a lawyer for $60-$75 per hour (4-6 hour minimum) to get out of a traffic ticket?

 

any tinting done to the front windows is illegal... obstruction of view.. igot one yesterday... point being... nobody is going to let you off easy... you are not special... no offense... secondly.. just pay the ticket.. go to traffic school. get over it... again... no offense.. it happens to everyone and it won't be your last... ttrrruuustt me.. at the rate you're going.. you'll end up like me w/ all kinds of tickets.

Okay go over to Clairemont Mesa Blvd Court House challange the ticket express the fact to the judge simply that It will never happen again he lowers your $188.00 ticket to a $20.00 proccessing fee accept the traffic school for $35.00 and no point on your record and no one calls your insurance company. As for the tint go find a cop tell him its off he signs the back you mail the yellow copy in with 10 bucks and your VOILA your done!

i belive u can tint all the way around in washington, or at least u used to.

 

here in texas we can tint the the front windows... not the windshield.
25% is the legal limit for the driver and passenger windows and teh little and back windows can be blacked out for all they care.
