Default Want To See::Pics of tC with Just DDMTuning and HIDExtra HID Kit!

This is not a "beat a dead horse" thread.....I've not seen this thread because it doesn't exist already. I would like to see pics of tC's with Either DDMTuning OR HIDExtra HID kits please. I'm considering buying a kit from one of these businesses. I know HIDExtra has a kit for $43.99 shipped but those are for the regular ballasts (not slimline ballasts) and they are 35 watt ballasts. DDMtuning has 55 watt slimline ballast kits for the tC and they recommend the relay harness. Any feedback from you guys? I'm leaning towards the DDMtuning kit.

Thanks
John

well hidextra kits are good but as you mentioned there the full size ballast for $43.99...and DDMTuning has a choice of 35 or 55 watt slim ballast and has they mentioned the 55 watt is bright but the color wont be as good as the 35 watt...i dont think i can post and compare prices and specs as its against the rules......but yea a relay is always recommeded

let me ask you a question my06tc, I just received my lip kit like yours. Are you completely satisfied with it as a whole? What do other folks think about the kit and especially the front lip?

DDM tuning for sure. They have lifetime warranty. Customer service is great. I ordered 6k slimline with harness. The harness was on back order, so they called me to let me know that it will be in shortly. Installation was simple. 1 thing is with the instructions they have online is different for our cars. You have to reverse the polarity. You'll understand if you end up getting them. just switch the connections around.

i say go with ddm also. i went with their 6k 35 watt. the slim ballast is very convenient to place under the hood. and i got their harness. everything shipped was 59 dollars. shipping only took 2 days. and also the lifetime warrantee helps a lot.

yo, i've had both, and i would rather stick with DDM tuning, and you do not need a relay harness. I have had my ddm hids on my tc for a year now. I can get u pics of the HIDs 2moro. Plus you can get the slim ballast 35w for $35.00

Pictures won't do jack to help you decide. Go with either, I prefer DDM because they've worked well for 2 years in the tC and well in my WRX for 2 years. Plus they have a lifetime warranty. At the price, you really can't beat either, it will all be personal preference.

I've got ddm in both my cars. They're great. My xa has 120k 35watt and my Tc has 120k 55watt. I don't have the ability to post pictures since I'm on my phone but if you send me your email I'll gladly send you pics. And yes for the Tc polarity is reversed but it's easy to switch. I use a relay even though I've heard you don't need to on the 55watt kit. Rather be safe then sorry.

ive ran my DDM kit for months without a relay harness, but decided to install it just in case. id rather be safe than sorry. you definitly dont want burnt out connections. that will cost you some extra money down the line. just a fyi

I have a kit from both companies and Id go hidextra for the simple fact that ddmtuning has zero customer service.

i have all my hid kits on relay harnesses just to be safe. the harnesses are only 20 bucks and replacing all the wires in your car would cost much more than 20 bucks. just playing it safe
