Anybody know what the stock tC wheels weigh? Doesn't seem to be an easy number to find. I'd appreciate any help.

I weighed the rims alone on a scale, they're roughly 19-20lbs. The person that measured it in that thread measured the total weigh of the rims when shipping which includes packaging material along with the rim. Regardless of what you're shipping out, a shipping company doesn't just weigh the contents of a package, they weigh the entire package including contents. The box for each rim isn't any normal cheap one ply cardboard box because that would provide any protection at all when shipping (not like that prevents all damages sometimes) so most companies use a box made a little bit thicker and stronger. I could be wrong if the rims that were shipped without any handling/packaging materials. I doubt it though. If I get a chance to I'll try to find out with a scale that's been calibrated recently.

 

19-20lbs sounds about right
