Im looking to tint my tC and I was just wondering what your opinion on a Black tint . I will probably get the tint that wins the poll. Thanks for your help

I just tinted my windows on my Super White TC... i'm not sure what the % is. All i know is the back windsheild is "medium" and the sides are "light".

I think the darker... the better. But if its too dark you might get cited for it.

 

I think 20% is the best because during the day you can see through it just fine and at night you can as well but to people at night it looks pitch black...

 

I had 15% all around - looked nice, but I couldn't see anything at night. Called up my good tint buddy and redid the fronts 35%. It's still looks nice, but visibility is not suffering. Think about it.

again huey shows up to a tint thread. just look at my car theres no other way of having it lol.

 

Im not a big fan of 5% sorry man, especially on a black sand pearl. IMO it just looks weird because you can't tell where the windows end and the body begins. I think that it would look better on any other color. Im starting to lean towards between 20% and 35%

I really like the people that voted for being law abiding citizens that is good to know that not everyone has to break the tint laws

Also a general question, how do you guys with 5% drive at night ???

 

i think you will find that they are the ones posting things about getting into accidents....

not being an a-hole or anything... but seriously... 5% up front?? can you guys even see if there is a car in the blind spot?

oh, and that comment applies to all drivers/car owners in general, not just tC owners.

 

I think that this tint looks really good and it seems to be winning the poll. I think this might be the one Im going to get! Is there anyone who has been pulled over for having their tint around this percent??

 

night time driving questions:

basically you just get used to it. my 02 escape had 2.5% on the back windows and the rear window, and 5% on the front 2. my tC only has 5% all the way around so it's actually lighter. driving at night is the best time, it's pitch black in your car, especially when you have as big of an eyebrow on the windshield as i do.

 

I had 4% all the way around on my lumina and it's what got me in trouble.....I do too many illegal things to be having dark tint...

How dark is 35%? Does anyone have any pictures of 35% all around on a bright day?
How is 20% at night? Can you still see ok? Is 50% tint even worth doing?

 

i have 20%, but i dont have any pics of my car : ( i will once the new shoes go on in Spring, But 20% is hot

and i have been pulled over 4 times, for small things, and they have never said anything about it, its just dark enough, But not To Dark..
