Ok, 1st I have already searched and haven't found anything that can help me? 2nd, I know HID's can cause a glare.....So if your going to diss me wanting HID's....don't post..... All I want is HID onwers recommending what brand to buy.....

if i were to EVER buy an HID kit and put it in stock housings, then i would get the real deal! As in OEM ballast and OEM bulbs. this guy sells great and quality OEM items on ebay for a very reasonable price.

OEM bulbs will not fit stock housing. I got McCulloch, and it works great. Kinda pricey though

If you're going to get your hands that dirty, might as well do a retrofit. If you want to use a kit, use 8000K because they're more dim and will generate less glare. But, the draw back is that you'll have less light coverage. It's up to you.

theres a bunch for sale in the sponsored sales section. i havnt had any, so i cant say for sure which are better, id just make sure you get a relay so you dont fry anything. supposdley, you dont need one, and *should* be fine without, but for another 15$ id rather be safe than sorry

8000k are still way brighter than regular halogens right?

I've been very happy with my HID's from Oznium. Plug and play install and a nice crisp white with the 6k kit.

I agree! mobilehid are a good quality HID kit, and Cliff offers great customer support and shipping was fast. Got the 4300k kit and I love it!.
I feel that the best thing to look at in terms of a good kit is the built in relay. The last thing you want to due to ruin your electical system. This kit has it, plus he has a sale right now for 170 shipped.

Default Best HID

Clifford at Mobile HID did a special order of 50Watt (versus standard 35W) 9006 bulb type, 8000K cool blue....provides the extra lumens I was looking for out of my eBay projectors (low beam) without the glare....a bit above the $170 Xmas sale price (@ $240) but was stumped at low lumens from other budget HID kits (35W).

The relay is a Great Idea....and ensures plenty of starting amps to the ballasts!

Happy in Edgewater, Md.

^^^ I agree with the above about Clifford at Mobiel HID. I got the 9006 4300k kit for my tC. Put them in the stock housing, and aimed the beam a bit further down. It's a good quality kit, with a very easy install.

the link to the ebay auction is already for a rebased 9006 set. so it will fit w/o modifications. i think this is the best way to go about a "kit" since ALL the components can be reused for a future retrofit. plus they are quality parts. OEM Toyota Denso ballasts and Philips bulbs are so much better than all these other korean/taiwanese kits its like apples and oranges.

I had a 6000k McCulloch kit on my last car. I was very pleased with it. Good quality with a resonable price. I have a 5000k McCulloch kit on the way here for my tC. I think Philips is one of the "best"...however they are retardedly expensive.
