Well I am selling my xB and replacing it with a tC. I really like the silver and the flint mica but I am leaning toward the flint mica because i think it will look better fixed up. i plan on putting the kaminari body kit on it and dropping it with some tein s-techs and either putting 18's or 19's on it, probably gunmetal with a polished lip. also i am legally exempt from the local tint laws and my windows will be blacked out 2% like my xB. i am either going to put the Kaminari Carbon fiber hood or the AIT N1 carbon fiber hood. i may down the road decide to two tone it but this is just the mods i plan on doing within the first month as far as exterior.

please give me your input guys and maybe some pics of some fixed up silver and flint mica tC's to help me make my decision, i will be getting the tC within the next three weeks.

 

if you go with flint mica...you will have a hell of a time doing anything with paint work. i had a FM tC and i couldnt choose a paint to go with it besides FM its self. maybe im just picky though?

i'd say go with silver. there is ALOT of FM out there.

 

honestly, i dont think other peoples opinions matter much. its what you want and what you'll be happy with. i can rant all day about the SW TC. only me and a few others would probably agree that white is the best color out right now. but since you asked...

i choose FM. (sorry silver TC owners) but i think its the not quite black color that gets me. im not really into silver cars. (thats just me though)

i dont think that silver looks good with a body kit on it and the first thing that i get is going to be the body kit

 

i do also like the Mpower and GT Touring body kits but they do not make MPower in urethane and i will no buy a fiberglass body kit, i could do the GT Touring on the silver

Go with BSP w/the M-Power kit I know i know. but if i had to choose between the two, mmmmmmm, FM. closer to black ;)

 

i say go with either FM or BSP, cuz ive had all 3 color tCs parked in my driveway at 1 point... well ive actually had a RS2, a SW, a SSM, FM, and BSP all in my drive way, and the 2 i loved teh most was BSP and FM like someone said above it a PITA to color match FM but if done right its the sickest color. the flakes are 2nd to none :D thats why i love my FM. altho BSP has some sick flakes in it too but IMO silver is just BLEH. NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE WITH SILVER lol thats just my 2cents.

I will peronsally say FM just because I love this color. You can say FM is everywhere but I dont have a single FM where I live, lol. The only thing I would suggest if you plan on putting carbon fiber pieces on maybe do a lighter color. To me carbon fiber on dark color doesnt stand out as much, and it looks HOT on the SW and Silver.

yes CF on FM uhm not as clean looking as on a lighter colored car
CF on BSP is better than on an FM

and oh yeah at a dealership show i was the only one with FM (well another chick had one too) so i don't see how they r that common either :D

 

i hate for CF to stand out.... it has to flow and blend. I wont be going for the riced out look, i will be going for the holy **** that mother is clean look but only noticed by people that actually take the time to look at it... check out my WWW and see what i have done with my xB. thats the look im going for, actually those pics on my WWW are old and are not a great reflection of the car now

i have done just about everything except paint and a body kit and turbo setup to it and i have won the trophy that i was shooting for at the show i was shooting for and it is time for me to get something new and nicer, not that my xB isnt nicer than a stock tC cause it is but I will make the tC a lot nicer than my xB ever thought about being

strange question but yes. i was born in January of 1987. and yes i do pay for everything done to my car with my own money that i work for and everything done to the xB was done myself, i refuse to let anyone else work on my car ever,
