Default What to do with my CF hood

My VIS carbon fiber hood is fading, cracking, and turning yellow. So I’m considering 3 options to fix it. What do you think?

1. Given the resin is already turning yellow/amber, I can clear coat it with a gold pearl effect. Here’s an example on the hood scoop of this WRX below. The scoop has actual gold colored CF weaved in.

2. Clear coat it with a plain pearl effect (gives it a blue-gold shine at certain angles under light). The new Lexus IS250 in white has this effect.

3. Cover it in vinyl with the Burberry pattern. Surprisingly my label-loving wife thinks this will look awful LOL.

Painting it white is not an option. I still have my stock OEM white hood, so I don’t need another white hood. I don’t care about weight savings (I drive like a grandpa anyway). This is purely a visual mod.

Here's a picture of my car. The fading, cracking, yellowing doesnt show well here but its very noticable in person.

Here's some Burberry examples I've found.

haha, the brake calipers look sick! engine cover isnt bad either! but I say go with option 2. Just clear coat it. The 1st option would look good if you were rolling gold rims!

I'd say #2. I couldn't imagine a burberry hood. It would be like having my wife remind me everyday how much she wants those stupidly expensive purses.

dont do a burberry or whatever it is, why not do a repeating logo, I always thought it would be cool to own a motorcycle with the Famous Stars and Straps 'F' repeating.

Well I am in the market for a cf hood and I think that I am going to go with seibon hood. Seems like the VIS quality isnt that good.
How long did you have the VIS hood when it started to crack and fade?

Wow, difficult decision. I'm voting for the gold. That would look sweet.
