I removed the Grille and lined the hole with rubber stripping to clean up the edges. What do you guys think about it?

looks like you are missing a grill. One step down from driving around without a hood

Its your ride though, if you like it then rock on. But be ready to replace that radiator when something blows a hole in it

hey...what kind of rubber stripping thing is that and where did you buy it? and its attached on the inside right?

i have a figure llc grill and since my car is superwhite...if i look closely inside the grill...it doesnt look that "clean" if you know what i mean...i wanna clean it up a bit with the stripping

also is it a bad idea to have that rubber there? since the grill area does get a bit warm when running

 

Nice post decal. Fort Sill made me put mine top center above the rearview mirror. I have to point it out everytime I try to get on a base.

i say get a grill if its the scion thing your worried about. with out it.. iono just doesnt cut it for me...

but as always.. to each their own. :D

 

I put the grille back in, without the logo.... it looks ok, I'm still trying to figure out something. as for the black stipping, it was weather stripping from home depot.

 

glad you got that grill in there

 

keep the grill on. without the grill it is easier for a theif to stick his hand in and un-latch your hood.

 

yeah its staying.... until I get a blank grill
