i think they look good. saw one on ebay the other day for like $40

 

My g/f & i wanted them for the box but never got around to getting them. So i'm guessn' we won't ever get them for the tC either.

 

It's funny that $50 for b'pillar I gotta think thru!
But I dont think when getting other mods, floormats, S2000 antenna, bright-white lights!

I'm not a fan of them... sure the CF looks good, but I think they stand out too far

that's why I have my vinyl domed overlays... has the CF print but doesn't stick out so far

 

I ordered them yesterday...I think they look pretty nice. they are like 45 at sparks toyota's website

 

They look real good on my g/f's flint mica.

 

I have the silver streak mica, and Im wondering if they will be suttle but cool... because I dont want it to jump out too much. I just want to add a little personalization. But I wish someone had somepics that werent 1 foot away from the actual item

 

At first I really wanted to get them, now I feel that they're kinda tacky, but that's just imo.

I would like them better without the tc logo, but im not paying 50 bucks for a vynl sticker

 

They are so stupid just like the bumper applique. These are even more stupid since it isn't real carbon fiber and you are just fooling yourself if you think they make the car look better. They actually make the car look cheaper and when others find out its just a sticker in the form of carbon fiber, they will ____ on you and then on your car.

 

WTF? Actually they are real CF.


I think they look really good on my SW tC. I get compliments on them all the time.

 

I know its CF, buts a sticker of CF. Its like those gold stickers they put on certificates. Its real gold, but its just a sticker form of the gold. Therefore its not really the real thing.

 

yeah, they are real carbon, just backed with 3m adhesive...mine should be in tomorrow, Ill post pics on my SSM TC when I get them put on.

 

what do you think real carbon is? carbon is just woven fibers, its actually flexible until epoxy is applied, my friend is a composite worker, he does carbon every day.

 

i like em - better than i expected, add a nice touch of detail to the sides of the car which is fairly plain... perhaps better on dark colors, i dunno...
