I know IHE seems to be out of the question but have you considered at least a modest axle-back exhahust? It won't add any noticable horses but personally I like having audible engine feedback and the stock was waay too quiet for me.

May I also suggest:
- replacing the interior dome lights to some cool white LEDs (quick & cheap)
- LEDmods to match your HVAC and dash gauges to your head unit colors (not so cheap, mail in your parts)

edit: as for lowering, that's personal preference and weather permitting... I want to lower mine but presently the tC is my only car and Michigan winters can get brutal. The last time I drove a lowered car, it was a Mustang (again, only car situation) and a unanticipated clunk of slush fell off another car, and danced its way under the side before knocking out the fuel pump.

Seriously concentrate on Suspension...as in:

Springs/Struts

Rear Sway BAr

Rear 4-Point Brace bar

Good Tires

Front Strut Bar

Urethane Bushings.

I have an AutoMagic too!!...Handling is More fun than Power Mods.

Lowering the tC isn't expensive at all, the money in your audio more than covers the cost for springs.

I live in Chicago and I drive around slammed year round, just gotta learn how to drive a lowered vehicle.

i should clarify myself, im going to do a cat back and a cold air intake, im just trying to see what else i would like to do down the road and i do have modified interior lighting as well as the s2k antenna. but on this note,
whats a good sounding exhaust that sounds deep and beautiful but not raspy and ricey?

and how much do you think it would run me to get lowering springs installed?

Magnaflow makes a great sounding kit. I still use mine even after going turbo and it's still whisper quiet compared to the TRD. It just leaves a nice grumble when you step on it and no rasp... even without cats.

The springs shouldn't cost you more than 300 to buy depending on which ones you go with. If you live in a snowy state, go with TRD's because they keep the front bumper higher to clear curbs and snow but they don't look as leveled and aggressive as others. Installation really isn't hard but if you do pay someone, don't pay more than 75% of what the dealer would charge IMO.

If you are auto, definitely go with suspension mods before power but a CAI and cat-back are a nice addition if you actually want to hear your car. Get a progress or TRD rear sway bar, strut tower bar, and some nice tires when you get your wheels. Don't cheap out on the tires!!!

But will the magna flow be noticeable though? ive listened to sound clips and it almost sounds TOO quiet. I think i might want to go with the tenabe concept g axle back.. any imput? and okay i will definitely look into the trd springs since i do live in a snowy area!

uhm, to me it never gets annoying and i have never had anyone complain. It is pretty loud dont really know what exhaust it compares too, it is probably louder than the trd from what i have heard. I might have a sound clip but I dont know if it captures it the best.

I've got Tanabe Concept-G on mine and I live in the south burbs. Not a cop-attention getter and quiet until you are under full load. I left it on this past winter and just cleaned the road salt off of it and it looks brand new again. It's a very high quality axleback with deep tone. But you should lower it first...handling is much more beastly.
