Hey I was just wondering what you guys used to blacken out your emblem. I have seen a VRD grill and I kinda think just blackening the emblem out would look better. idk I want my ride to look clean but not too racer. Does anyone think the vrd grill is super nice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I got a black vrd grill with a flint mica painted tc emblem in the corner, I think it looks a bit cleaner than just painting the stock grill.

Spray paint.

 

Yea the same process for painting anything... sand, prime, paint, clear. It's actually "Duplicolor Auto Spray" in Graphite metallic. Matches flint mica awesome especially with a laquer clear coat.

I'll go get a couple of pictures in a minute, car is dirty but the grills are new and clean.

Yep just waiting for somone to buy a new bumper so they need to sell theirs. I'd buy new but I'd rather save a little bit so I can put it toward another mod.

My front emblem is covered by black vinyl- The VRD grille looks good, but I went the cheap way





not the greatest, I know but again, nice n cheap =]

 

Mustve been tough to wrap that emblem in vinyl, haha.

My vrd grill was 125 shipped used. ( was brand new, no marks or anything ). New their like 200 i think. From vrd
