What's up w/ the yellow fogs?

Yellow fogs is MAD JDM TYTE YO!
Seriously though, there has been debate that the yellow color of the light makes it easier to see in low light/foggy conditions. Not sure if there is any hard evidence to prove that or not, but that is the assumption.

kinda like asking someone "why the blue car?" . Its just the color they chose and liked. There is some that say the yellow makes it easier to see as stated above, but most just chose the color they think looks good. Mine fog overlays are blue.

To put it simply, because people think it helps improve lighting in fog. Just the same as how people think 12000K HIDs are 'brighter' than OEM.
Yellow fogs do not penetrate fog droplets any more than white fogs. The yellow fog theory has been proven wrong.
And for the JDMtools, it's French, not JDM.

It isn't necessarily that the light penetrates the fog any deeper, but yellow does improve the contrast of things. I know my yellow tinted goggles for snowboarding come out when visibility is reduced and it helps to see changes in the terrain. I believe that is the reason it can't be proved because it is kind of subjective.
