Well this weekend while in the Safeway Grocery parking lot this dude in a 1965 912 backs up and creams my front bumper on the passenger side............just got back from the adjuster and I refused a bumper repair,and so they are gonna get me a new bumper,but cost of paint and body work is $1400 and some change.............who would of thought a small dent,a crease and a bunch of chips in a bumper could be so expensive.........they are gonna have to repaint my fenders,hood and new bumper to get it allto match..........thanks to Scion using so much metallic in the 08 Crimson Mica......guess I am lucky I don't have a RS4 xB huh...........guy in our club had some damage to his same way and had to have the entire car painted as they could not make it match..........LOL

body shops always charge more for repairing damange if they know the insurance is paying for it.
when someone backed up on me and scratched my front bump, fender and the rear fender a little the body shop charged 3k for the whole thing.

Yeah I figures they are charging a premium since the insurance is paying...........
No body kit.........I already have been saving for the 5 axis kit and would rather get the car fixed..........shame it had to happen to me.............seems like every new car I get somebody runs into it within 6 months of me buying it.............
His insurance is picking up the tab and when she goes into the shop they are giving me money for a rental car so my wife can get to work..............

^ now that would of been a good idea.........I am not under any time period to fix it so I might do that........they gotta have my car for like 3 days...........man three days...............
