Default Who has bought the $80 HID kits off EBAY???

I want to see who has actually bought the cheap EBay hid kits?

Any problems?

How long have you had them on the car?

PLEASE ONLY POST ON HERE IF YOU HAVE EBAY HIDS!!!!!!!

No Bashing of brands! Just a straight honest "I have them and they suck, or they are awesome....etc.

thanks

I'd be more concerned of the lack of an independent harness. It's far better to draw the power spike from the battery rather than through the stock wiring.

For $50 more you can get one of Operatic's kits... I've been running mine for 9 months and it's working great.

I have one. It's a Xentec kit. I think there's a thread in the PPC for them. Ballasts are nice, but the bulbs are cheap-o's. One of mine has problems with flickering and it sometimes goes out completely. I'm probably going to order a new set of bulbs tomorrow. I'm also running a relay harness that's not included with the kit.

Yep. A lot more blue/purple to the eye than I thought it would be. However, it's diamond white on the ground. IMO 6K is the best color temp to go with.

I got mine from http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-06...spagenameZWDVW
almost a year ago, and no problems at all so far. I'm actually thinking of selling it eventually tho because I wanna switch to H1 for projectors

:edit: i just realized the price he set, mine were much cheaper a year ago, he was selling them for 90 shipped or something...

All in all I'd say yes. Had it not been for the bad bulb and lack of a relay harness, I'd give it a 10. But for $80 shipped you can't beat it.
