Default who has scrapped the bottem of their front bumper?

I did earlier last week. I didnt notice it till today when I was washing my car. I think I scraped it going down my friends wicked driveway during lunch. My cars at stock height too. I'm really bummed.. my car isn't so perfect anymore.

Don't worry. Getting the first scratch on your car is always the one that hurts the most. You can always use touch up paint.

you should see the other side.... there's a huge gash in it. none of this is noticable from looking at the car at eye level, luckily.

I was lucky. I was pulling out of a parking lot and didn't notice the deep trench (because of construction. City is ALWAYS fixin' streets here!) and smacked the bottom of my front. When it happened, I was like Ahhhh! When I got home, I looked under the front and, to my suprise, I ended up scraping the black guard and not the paint! I have SSM, so I know that would a showed up real nice on my paint.

man..........I had that same problem when I had to pull over to the side of the freeway
and ran over some steelbelt tires leftover from truckers. I end up going to bodyshop
paid $250 to re paint the front bumper complete.

I did that about a week after I got my car.

I drive through Laguna Beach all the time, so there's really no avoiding it.

Only, I actually did it in a Denny's parking lot. Boy was I ____ed.

hell yea man, it hurts like hell... i keep on thinking about it. I sanded the area down with some 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and put some touchup paint on. its not so noticable now. I dont think i'm gonna get my car lowered anymore.

I've got the same similar scars.

Who cares. It's a car, it's going to happen. Wait until you've driven over 30K miles ... hwy miles. Then go look at your entire front end. headlights etc.

You'll want to replace the whole front end or wrap it all in bubble wrap for each trip.

Update: I just got my front bumper, rear bumper, and hood repainted.

Long story, but it cost me a total of 180.00

I got rear-ended recently, had my hood repainted at the shop, and they chipped my front bumper...

5 year warranty on all newly painted parts, WOOT! Rock chips and road damage are COVERED!

Power Collision is awesome. You should look around for deals like this in your area, folks!

Not exaclty the bottom of my bumper, but more like the rear middle. This is what happened to me today:

The guy hit me when I was in class and I didn't notice it until my friend pointed it out to me later that night. I hate people who do that. This was at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa. Too bad I don't know who did this.

Got a phone number for this shop? I would concider getting my front bumper repainted if it's an excellent job and decent price.
