Grrr, this is making me mad. My tow hook cover won't lay flush like all my friends tc's. It sticks out on the left side a little and no matter how hard I push, it won't go in.

Any ides?

prob because it was a replacement one... i bought another one from the dealer and that one didnt sit flush like the one when i bought my car...

i have this problem too, no idea how to fix it. i just try not to look at it so much. it's annoying as hell though. i was thinking about popping the tabs off and using 3M tape or super glue and putting it there for good.

 

^ smart idea..make it difficult to get to your car towed in the event of an emergency

 

whenever ive had a car towed they dont worry about the tow hook. they either put the strap around the tires or whatever or put it on the flatbed, at least where i live.

 

Same problem here and yes it is an aftermarket (oem style) bumper...

 

So you're saying that our bumpers aren't pure oem?
Or just the hole?

how is the fitment compared to the fenders? the bumper is sticking out?

use so epoxy or superglue if ur not gonna use the tow hook but if u r, jus use some hot glue. i think that shuld fix it?

My bumper was also replaced after my accident. Same prob. Use the 3m double sided tape like the guy said.

 

No, the fender and bumper look normal. From what I can tell. I'll just superglue it I guess. My OCD is kicking in and it's bugging the hell out of me everyday.
