You usually have to mold them to the body. not easy to do, and if you take it to a body shop, it usually cost a lot

There is a company called Lord fuser or DR fuser or something like that that has an excellent metal to fiberglass or plastic bonding agent. Then fiberglass it to fill the gap and give it the molded look. Or I guess you could go the cheap going to crack first time you take a corner route and use regular body filler. Either way it is a ____ load of work and if you haven't done it before or don't have the confidence that you can do it then take it to a pro because if you attempt and fall flat on your face they're going to charge you an a$$ load to fix it. There are companies that do make bolt on widebody kits if you want to go that route. Then you have to cut your stock fenders out so you can throw some 10" and 13" wheels under there. But then you might as well get a turbo and a cool ___ paint job and it's really a lot of work and money. Sorry for rambling on but I really want to do it and have absolutely no money so yeah I'm just a loser!

You live in Concord? I'm there quite frequently.

Do you know any Asian girls with the last name Aquino?

Like so....

(And, yes.. once you go wide, you don't go back. Your stock fenders are cut to accommodate the wider wheels)

figure to spend about 10-12k for a good molding job and prep then another 3-4k for paint.

15k for a good job then you'll need custom wheels so figure another 3k so with everything probably close to 20k . these are probably a bit high but not too far off

The thing about wide bodys is its easy to crack if your not careful. The right way to put them on is to first rivet or screw them together. Screwing is better because rivets can crack through the fiberglass. Then you grind the 2 sides down real well and deep and slash xxxxxxx along it so its like a stitch. Then you put fiberglass bondo over it, then put fiberglass mesh over the bondo when its wet. Let it dry, then put more fiberglass bondo over that and the mesh is the main thing that keeps it form moving around. Then the rest of it is making sure not to put stress on it so the fiberglass wont crack.

All that costs a few bills a side to have it done perfectly.

The correct answer is, If you have to ask, you cant do it.

Obviously you cant do it yourself, because you had to ask. So logically your going to pay to have it done, and if your paying, it doesnt really matter how its done, because only your wallet is going to need to know.
