Default Will buff help?

Ok here is the deal

I had a light scratch on top of my door handle, so I tried to fix it with rubbing compound. It took off the scratch pretty good, but it was left with blem. The small area where I rubbed was filled with light scratches. It is obvious if you look at the door at an angle.

Even with waxing. You can still see it at an angle..

should I try to buff it? It looks white-ish when you look closely, so will buffing fix it?

Rubbing compound is a pretty harsh product to use with out any follow-up.

What you are seeing right now is a ton of tiny swirls from the agressive compound.......

I would buff it out with a PC or rotary. I like Menzerna SIP and 106FF. I use them on my car everytime I detail..........

Hope this helps

If you have never used a rotary before, take it to a professional. In inexperienced hands you could very well make things much worse than they are.
