Im thinking about smoking my tail lights half way with the spray.

 

Not. I would say do the whole thing or nothing. It looks wierd with only half done.

 

 

It will be against the law if i smoke the whole thing. If I did smoke the whole thing I need to install reflector somewhere.

Either smoke the whole thing or cany out the whole thing, do a slightly darker candy red on the entire light..

I would on your car beings all red the tail would blend in with the rest of the car IMO very nicely...

 

they sell smoked overlays that will do what you want, unless you want to paint it completely black.

Even if its smoked, the reflectors should still function.

 

leave it alone! Dont do nothing to the reverse light either. The only thing i would red out is if i had the TYC tails, then i would red out that! Ive seen it and it looks good!

 

 

BTW....is that a m3 type of lip spoiler? I think ive seen it somewhere?

 

If you put a real light film over the tail light, the police aren't experts on our stock tails compared to aftermarket. I had an eclipse with a light tint and as long as the light comes through, they won't pull you over for that.
The original post was to cover up your top portion, which is your turn signal (I think) if anything, tint the whole unit or go TYC

 

tint it whole red! :D

 

 

They're on Ebay for the tC, pre-painted in all the colors the car comes in, and at a good price...I've been considering one myself.
