I was cleaning my car today and i have the roof open, and i noticed that the deflector wasnt coming up all the way there was about an inch left of space in the guide for it to come up. im able to push it up with my hand. i was wondering if this is common and if there is a way to fix it maybe by adding lube or something.

 

if your sunroof opens all the way just fine, and the wind deflector doesnt rattle around when moving and open, it should be fine >_> mine has same problem...i leave mine like that cuz im lazy to do anything about it if it isnt "broken".

any more opinions please?

 

mine does that too only its about a 1/2 inch space. idk why it does it but im assuming it just needs to be lubed or something. dont worry though, its not broken.

 

Mine does that too, it's almost like it has a bit of give room. I think it's so that if you have the sunroof open with the wind deflector up it gives it some flex so strong gusts aren't so rough on it. But that's just what I think it is. ...
