Default Window Tint

I just got my windows tintend on my 08 tc, it's been a week and I can now put my windows down, but the problem I am having is when I put the window back up, they may a screaching sound and it seems like they go up much slower. It seems that they are getting stuck on the weather stripping. Has anyone had this problem, and whats the fix.

they will most likely go up a little slower no matter what you do, because despite the thinness of the tint, it still adds enough thickness to slow the motor down some, as for the fix, I would ask the guys that did the tinting, if they are good they should stand by their work, check it out if nothing else comes up....

you gotta pop the door apart and put the weather strip back down. otherwise it'll leave scratches on your tint. if it already has... go back to the shop and get them to re-do it. i did.

have them redo your tint, if they are have decent guys they'll relook at it. chances are they didn't put the weather stripping back in right, mine doesn't do that, my windows are no slower or faster then they were before either.

did you let the tint cure for a day or two?
you're not supposed to use the windows when you just get tint installed.

My shop told me three days, i only rolled them down on accident twice, once at the bank, and at the gas station.

Default tint

I just had a chance to look at today, it seems that there are two layers of seal on the inside so I took the doors apart and fixed the seal how it should be and they work fine now. Thanks
