I am thinking about putting a tint on windshield. I have 20% tint on the sides and 10% on the rears and hatch. I am thinking about a 45% tint on the windshield. It will cost about $40 bucks and a ticket (if i ever got one would be about $140). It would really cut down on heat in the car which is nice since my car temp often reaches 125 degrees here in Arkansas.

 

I am thinking about it but it is soooo illegal in Jersey and I dont know if it is worth the PIA but I was thinking 50%

 

few of my friends have done it with 35% and though it looks cool, and they really have no problems seeing through it, it's a def. stand out when a cop sees it. they have a peice of plastic that sticks to the windshield that you stick the inspection sticker on to also....

i have my whole front windshield done. and here in arkansas the cops HATE it. ive had a few tickets for it already.
but yeah it does cut down on the temp in the car alot. and it looks good too.

 

35% llumar tint will look nice

 

I'm surprised anybody is actually considering/has done this. I can't think of many surer ways to get a ticket.

 

i have llumar 30% on my front and it looks nice,
but it is a sure way to get a ticket. its not that noticeable when you roll your windows down.
if you do get tint on your front just ask yourself how much it is worth to you

 

i saw an escalade that had at least 10% on the front and all the way around i couldn't see anything inside of it...it was solid black and the windows matched the paint....wonder how many tickets they'd got....
