my windshield have a huge rock chip in it and is now cracking. anyone know where to get a good price on a new one? hopefully in the NW

 

talk to your inc. company some cover it under comprehensive so you dont pay anything or have your rates go up either

other then that the only place i could think of would be your local dealership

 

$887 just for the windshield not installed at dealer. -$500 deduc. i dont want to pay = ____ed off

 

Getting a new one put in as we speak, $263 after taxes. Sounds like the dealer is trying to pull a fast one. If you were from the area I'd point you their way. They did my Firehawk for $196! And that's with new black trim. And a damn good job too...

 

I'm getting a new one this week also. $100 deductible for comprehensive, which the shop is going to pay, so final cost to me is $0.

As for prices on the windshield itself, I don't think the price will vary from dealer to dealer much.... although when I called the dealer, I thought for sure it was less than $800 for the glass.. I thought it was closer to 600, but I could be mistaken.
