windshield nicks
umm...so i was driving home today and there was some roadwork going on in front of us. But there was a ton of gravel on the ground and the car in front of me ran over it and kicked up a bunch of the gravel and it hit my windshield. I have a few nnicks in it.....anybody know if there is anything i can do? can i get it replaced under warranty?

Little nicks can be filled easy and shouldn't cost anything with decent insurance and you can pay for them if you don't want to get insurance involved... just call a local glass shop.... usually around 30 bucks an area.
The only nicks (2) I have on my windshield that are noticable are from driving on the 405 Freeway in L.A.
(Damn trucks!) I was told that it would cost me around $40 to repair the both of them. Yep, call a local glass shop to see how much $$$ they will charge.
^^^ Ain't the 405 grand? There's always some beater truck dumping $hit from an uncovered bed flying around - if I were a Chippy, I'd be writing tix all day for those tools. Oh, and those gravel trucks $uck too.
