is it worth paying 300+ for a drop on springs? lol is 1-2inches a big different visual wise? still riding on stocks.

 

What springs are you looking at? and it's all personal opinion. You're in Texas I see so you don't have to worry about weather, but I dropped mine for half of 300 and I like so many others have s-techs

 

Houston = Flood city, but i wouldnt worry about it and that $300 is with the purchase of springs, install and allignment or whats included?

 

300 bucks for a drop. is it worth it. Yes. 2 inches dose look a hell of a lot better then stock height. and you should be able to drop (if just using getting springs ) for less the 300 ..

 

drop makes a big big difference, so yes!

 

a drop is a must. a stock tc looks like a monster truck,lol. and maybe you can contact someone in your area to help you out with the install so it doesn't cost you $300. just an idea

 

lol..i found a guy to drop my car for 65. maybe its gonna cost me 200+. any recommendations on springs to get? and where to get them? 1-2 drop, non tein..they ride nasty lol.

I have TRDs and love them! I never bottom out I look lowered. TRDs will drop your tC 1.25" to 1.5".
If that's what you're looking for, get them. You can go lower but I would advise you to change your
struts/shocks if you go with a 2" drop. The lower the drop, the more likely you are to wear out your
OEM shocks. GL.

 

I got mine done for $350 for 2inch drop on stock springs.

how well do our stock struts handle on aftermarket springs? sorry to threadjack, but it is a worthy question i think.

 

ive had mine stock struts on s-techs for about 35k miles or so... and i live in houston bumpy roads... they are fine..

 

You will void your warranty if you drop your car.

If thats not a problem get the TRDs, they, look good and dont make your car all bump and rough.
