Would it be possible to take an aftermarket RS3 grill (like from RacingSolution) and then replace the honeycomb grill that comes on it with a different grill (like a VRD)?

is it possible to get just only the RS3 grill casing w/o the actual grill?

You have to have a rs3 grille to even get one in the first place

 

lol, yes you can you would have to cut out the honeycomb grill out of the rs3 grill, (which is obtainable if you A. have connections and deep pockets, or B. have deep pockets and an RS3, or C. just have an RS3), then you would have to cut the VRD to fit, imo not worth the cost and time but would be cool, and im pretty sure you'd be the only one.

 

I'd contact Racingsolution to see how theirs is made. Maybe they just have the grill chillin behind the casing. It all depends on how theirs is made. Then again. When theres a will theres a way.

but yea, was hoping to see if there was anyone who had done this before, or if there was anyone who had a RS3 tC change their honeycomb grill.

 

I was thinking of ding that exact same thing with an rs3 knockoff from racing solution lol when finnaly get me the vrd and rs3 knockoff I'll be givin it a go =)
