After long and hard searching I found an rs1 owner willing to sell their grill. I was going to just give up and get a grillcraft but I really wanted that OEM look....so I tried harder. ANyway, I'll stop talking about it and show you how it looks....

honestly though, the RS1 looks real nice on any car...especially yours

 

I have the same setup...lower grill looks ugly but soon it will be removed to open intercooler :D

it looks great until you realize how much you had to pay for it.

 

I know the grille is expensive but this is the way I looked at it. Grillcraft...top and bottom...close to 300 dollars right? I payed 375 shipped and I was willing to pay a bit extra to get the oem look I want. I'm satisfied.

Say you have an RS1 TC and you get into an accident,(god forbid), and the front gets pretty beat up, where would a body shop order the replacement grill? i want the same grill, thats why i am asking.

 

Looks great. It also looks great on BSP. Make sure you get it insured!

 

its a very long and tiresome process that requires you to give them your vin number and RS#.

and in the end you'll either find a dealer to help lie to scion for you and get you the set for over $1k.
Scion is very protective of the RS grills and doesn't let them go for anyone, unless they do a DNA test and can 900% prove that you own an RS.....
