Default yellow fog bulbs!

i am planning to buy the tc factory fog lights from the dealer, but i want to change the bulbs to yellow ones, to match my raybrig hyper yellow parklights. i am looking for something like lexus type yellows. does anyone know where i can get something like that??? also does anyone know if the dealer will hook it up to the parks or the headlights, cause i want to be able to turn on the fogs with just my park lights on, not with the headlights. ......

I have that setup. It looks really good. My parking lights are PIAAs and my fogs are Nokyas. You can get bulbs from stores like Super Autobacs if you are in SoCal or buy them online.

Default Fog lights

BTW, what bulb size are the OEM fog lights? I had 4 dealerships say they didn't know the size, but if they burn out I had to replace/buy a new fog light assembly.

The factory fogs take 9006s. I put in GP Thunder 3000ks and they look/work great.

Any indication of burning/melting the socket or anything? That is my only concern when upgrading bulbs/lights. I work for BMW/Mini Cooper and have seen people put PIAA bulbs in there headlights, just to find out a few days later it melted the socket and burnt a huge hole in their wallets.

The keys to not frying are:
Reliable brands
Not getting bulbs rated for higher wattage than stock (maybe a few watts more won't hurt, but stay as close as possible)

I use GP Thunders in the Lows and Fogs now with the stock Hi's. I am going to put in a set of SilverStars in the Hi's and keep it that way.
Nice setup - as soon as it stops raining and I get the car clean, I'll take some pix of my lights.
The yellows in the fogs are most functional - white makes no sense at all, but may be the look you want...

I second that. Thunder GP's are awesome! The ones I have run at 55 watts, so they won't melt the wires. As for mine, it's it's been in my car almost a year, 11 months to be exact, and they haven't burned out prematurely like silverstars did for me in the past. Plus, they're a little whiter than silverstars.

Default Fog lights

I recently put the Silverstars in my high and low beams, and I must say there is a lot of improvement overt he stock bulbs. I noticed that when I was driving home tonight that i actually like the yellow/halogen in the fog lights...it gives it a sportier yet different look to it. At first I didn't like the location of the stock fogs (center)...but now I love it! I'll post pictures tomorrow, if it's not raining and after I clean my car up.

Thanks for the help/inputs, if you got any more then please share!

i suggest HALO...they are really yellow, and are rated at 55watts.. thats like 5 over so no big deal. im not sure on the thunders as i have never seen them, but i recomend my set up. halo lows(platinum white), and fogs(yellow) and NRG innovations high beams(super blue)

Hey black, do you got a website where I can see what you're talking about? Anyone know a good site for the Thunder bulbs as well?

Yellow fogs set low are the best for fog/rain/snow.

Here are a couple shots of my headlights with the Silverstars in them, highs/low and the stock halogen in the fog lights. I'll try to get better shots sometime this week!
