yellow high beams

idk if this has been posted b4 or not but what would be the best yellow high beam bulb to get

Umm what do you mean by best? PIAA has a good reputation but they're kinda expensive.

i run HALO

they are pretty cheap, 30 bucks a set, and they last forever

I had have some pictures of my luminics yellows on my profile...but i took them out..they don't work all that great but go with PIAA Ion if you do

I have Luminics JDM Yellows for my high beams. I love them. Really make street signs "pop".

I use GP Thunder 3k 9005s.
Great combo - esp when it's really dark out.
My Fogs are also 3k 9006's.

my fogs are 6 k do u think if i put a yeloow overlay on them, they would look yellow?

They'd have as slight green look.
I'd just get the 3k bulbs.

+1 I have those to! There pretty bright and love the color I think UI have a pic of them on my profile.

+3. I'm guessing you guys bought the 9005/9006 combo on eBay too, eh? :D

I also modded the OEM 9005 to fit the lowbeam socket-- it's the perfect setup.

I didn't get them on ebay, but from a dealer.
They're great bulbs and not "WalMart" at all.
All have already lasted longer than on year.

Recommended for sure.
I also keep a spare set in my trunk.

Well, how ever much you paid for yours at a "dealer", I got the exact same bulbs (GP Thunder 3k) off of eBay last year for $26 shipped (4 bulbs).

You misread my reply.
The "walmart" snipe was for the other guy - BlueTC06.

I was only replying to you that I got mine elsewhere - not a snipe.
Mine were I think $30 shipped for two sets of two 9006.
