Default Yet another FOG LIGHT question...

Alright so I used to have VRD's and one day the passenger side got smashed. Since I was never fully happy with them (they were never angled evenly, look at my avatar) I've wanted to get the OEM fogs.

I bought the OEM foglight grill from the classifieds just last week without the wiring because I thought I already had the wiring in place from my VRD setup.

But like a dumba$$ I had no clue that the OEM fogs used 9006 bulbs and not H3's like the VRD's. Any fogs I've ever owned always used H3's.

Is there a quick H3 to 9006 conversion kit I can pick up somewhere? Or anyplace I can buy JUST the OEM fog connections and not the whole kit?

Any help would be appreciated.

or if you plan to get HID's for your fogs you could get a HID kit with H3 harness and 9006 bulbs

I've already got HID's up top. I don't really want to look like I'm coming down from outer space to blind everyone. Thanks for that link egobuster, just what I was thinking about. I guess I could cut/splice (def. less of a mess of wires under there) but if I were to go that route, shouldn't they be soldered instead? Or is a 55w bulb fine to run like that?

i dont think soldering is needed at all as long as you get a good cut and splice in and then prob wrap it in some shrink tubing and/or electrical tape you should be fine
