Default is your driver's door handle not working smoothly???

we got our '07 tC back in october, and it's just now hit 5k miles. i have an appt. to take her/him/it into the dealer tomorrow. i've noticed that the driver's exterior door handle isn't working like the passanger's. it seems to 'stick' at one point, and needs a bit more pull to open the door. the passanger's door handle seems to be working as smoothly as when we got it.

so, before i mention it to the dealer, i was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

thanks.

My drivers side door handle did the same thing on my 06 soon after I got it. It felt like it was sticking from both the inside and outside when trying to open it. The dealership fixed it, not sure what was wrong.

yeah mine does stick a little bit if i give it a sharp tug at an angle. sometimes i have to pull it smoothly laterally for it to open, but its not so bad that im going to head to the dealership soon.

Mine does it from the inside and out, and it's about 3 weeks old.

back from the dealer...
but of course it took almost 4 hours to do the 5k service because, well, thats what dealers do!

the service guy did agree with me that the handle was not working as smoothly as it should, so he pulled the door panel, checked the mechanism (exterior, and interior), and finally greased something and now its as good as gold.

what he greased, i have no idea. i was just happy to (finally!!) get the H outa there.
