I've got estimated price of $530 for installing both of them... 3XX for installing exhaust only.
Insane...
I will try it myself by following DIY posted but I don't know much stuff.
I think I can install intake with my friend but...
I need lift to lift up the car to install exhaust right..?

 

+ estimated working time of 5 hours and 30 minutes or something...

 

you have to lift up the car for both...for the intake you have to take the front left tire off....as far as the installation.....its easy you wont have any trouble, do it yourself

 

i mean for intake, u can just jack up the car right?
for the exhaust, u need lift??

 

for exhaust you can jack it up too...you dont need a lift.

 

what shop gave you that quote.....i would personally like to go over there and smash their windows in with a sledgehammer.

Dude, $20 jack stands will have you in business for both installs. I used two rear jack stands to do the exhaust, it's two bolts and three hangers for pete's sake! The intake requires removal of the front driver's side wheel, but again, jack stands. Honestly, that's the most incredible waste of money I've ever seen proposed. Many, many people here can help you with both installs. PM me if you need help with either deal.

 

^^ true all you need is jack stands and a jack. both together should take you TOPS 2 hrs. maybe 3 with breaks. but i say no more. i mean im not that great of a mechanic and i know most of us arent. but it seriously took me 1 hr with the DIY that kaeon posted. and there is a MR DIY here too so you could follow that just for the back portion.. pretty similiar.

 

did you get an axle back hks exhaust?

 

wow.......a shop that charges $580 an hour for labor? they should just go ahead and open up a dealership, that would be about right!!

 

I have the Injen CAI and HKS Exhaust both of which I installed myself. Both of them combined prob only took me about 1 hours time to install. (30mins each) I have had 3 vehicles and done all work on them myself. (except the free oilchanges for my tC) Im going to be getting/installing a Header DIY next week.

 

Ask how much extra it will be for them to put the Injen and HKS stickers on your windows too. I bet the service charge goes up another $100 and maybe 1.5 hours.

 

How can they forget the StIcKeRs, Thats another 20hp right thur!!! LoL </sarcasm>
