02 sensor
Ok so I have the Megan racingheader and the TRD supercharger. My check engine light is on and has been every since I installed the header. When I tried to remove my old 02 it broke, so then I bought an 02 from a toyta camry and installed taht then got the codes erased... 2 minutes later it was back on. So I tired the anti fowler with the 02 sensor then same scenerio.. now I have purchased teh ZPI smart 02 and I will be trying that out soon. However is that doesn't work then what? What type of damage or side effects will there be from havinga faulty 02 reading?
Just to clear things up, you're talking about the sensor on the s-pipe right? Not the header? 'Cause the sensor on the header is not an O2 sensor, it's your A/F sensor and yes it will screw up your car if it's not working.
The O2 sensor on the s-pipe is just to let the ECU know that the pre-cat on the header is working. People have driven many miles with the CEL from that.
Also, go down to your local AutoZone or whatever, and get that code read. You might be fighting the wrong problem.
Read my article to deteremine if either sensor is bad:

Nope, everybody here at the dealership thought that his header look great.
Thanks for giving us the chance to install your supercharger Dallas. Oh and a big thanks for giving me a chance to drive it.
