Default 07 tC Header?

I was told by the dealer when I bought my tC that the only major difference from the 06 to 07 was the ECU and the Exhaust manifold... has anyone with an 07 installed a set of headers and if so, what was your experience? I'm looking to grab a set for my car shortly.

I know nothing of the exhaust manifold difference, but the ECU is different as is the MAF sensor, other than that I only knew of slight differences here and there. Could be right, but I don't know. I was pretty sure any headers would fit the '07. Any input guys?

Allow me to be informative.

A car with a V6 or higher has a set (as in 2) of headers. One header for each bank of cylinders. A vehicle with a I4 has a single header.

I have not seen the exhaust manifold for the 2007 tC yet, so I'm not sure if an A/M header will fit. I know the shield looks different, but what is under the shield is what matters.

I'm not asking for an education regarding the difference between singular and plural to facilitate a miskey. I'm looking for information relative to my topic.

Kill the pollution, k thx!

I really think that the only difference is in the header shield, I don't think the header, no "s" now , is different. Good luck.

Do with it what you will. I'm just trying to give you a heads up before some one jumps all over you for the common mistake.

the exhaust mani on the 07 MY has longer runners, but there are some members that have put 05-06 MY header on their 07.
