Im not completely posistive but I'm not aware of any engine changes. I havent heard anything. All I know is that the bulb connections on the 08 are different and the headlight and taillights are different.

Heres a link for the press release about it.

07 and 08 are the same, he just has the better grill, headlights, and the ugly tailights, its just going to come down to the driver when you guys race

Theres really not much of a difference between any of them 05-08. Cosmetic tweaks and and SLIGHT differences with the MAF thats about it.

I disagree about the grille, the 07 looks SOOOO much better than the 08. Trust me, I have one , and it look cheap and cheesy. Headlights for sure, they are projection, and yes the tails in my opinion are yuck ... hence why I put 07s on two days ago :

Engine wise they are identical.

yeah, i swapped my tails out also, and installed red film over the 3rd brake light, i like that look alot better, i installed a badgeless upper grill, but i still like the 08 stock one over the 07, however the lower on the 08 makes its easy to install the badgeless cause you can buy the cheap one and wont have to worry about them not matching

My friend has an '08. i like the color of the gauges and hvac. its more of a burnt redish/orange color vs. yellow. But i think im gonna buy some '08 headlights. His lighting is so much better.

are different in the '08 than any of the previous years as well..

it's a deep and an actual orange.... vice the amber they used '07 and below.

it certainly feels like the 08 has a little more torque than the 07. but it could be just me.

oh, i see, well from what i have heard, the power and torque are the same, its just that the redesign of the header and air intake make the power and torque curves cleaner and the result from what some folks have said is that the 07 is around a tenth of a second or so faster then the 06, but i dont know how true that is, cause its hard to make that claim with different track cond, weather, driver and ect

My cousin has an 08 and mine is an 07..when I was stock they felt like the exact same cars...no different....cept I was kind of jealous since his tranny seems to shift smoother than mine (not the actual gears but the actual shifter itself)

i hear the 08 trannys have better gear ratios? have they changed, dyno figures on scionlife have shown 07 putting down 145-150 stock, and 05-06s putting down 135-140 stock, what could it be?
