Ok i currently have an 08 tC with an injen intake and Tanabe Concept G Exhaust installed, and i just purchased the Weapon R Header (install pending), now i am just thinking ahead for the install..do you think i should get another AERO AR25 resosonator or will one be more than enough for my set up..Thanks in advance

 

get two......jsut to be safe and install one.......if it still sounds bad toss onthe second....that is what I would do.

Bump for info on this...like if you get a hf cat will a resonator even be necessary if you have a catback?

 

Hflow cat will make a lot of the rasp go......but .........volume will stay ......the resonator will turn down that volume a bit and bring in some bass to the tone........two res will bring more bass.........it is a matter of taste....I have stock cat and 2 res and it sounds like stock TRD..........swapping to GReddy Tic soon to bring in the bass and volume to my taste.

Update..Set up sounds fantastic, no resonators needed, and no rasp at all, has a nice deap tone (Weapon R Header and Tanabe Concept G Exhaust)..next i will be adding the TRD Supercharger, and Megan racing midpipe, along with the NST 65mm overdrive pulley, and Gates belt

I hear a SLIGHT bit of rasp. But to each his own. I like NO rasp at all on my car.

My exhaust setup looks like Weapon R header + s-pipe combo, 2.5" midpipe with a moroso resonator, and tanabe concept g exhaust. I still need to find either another resonator to stick on WITH the Moroso or find a single one that works better.

 

i have 2 resonators on mine, 1 stock and 1 by thrush (advance autos 31 bucks) which are glass packs and NO RASP at all. i have tsudo axle back, s-pipe and DC headers and i absolutely have no rasp so 2 is more than enough.

also the stock is 30" long and the thrush is 25", thats the most i could fit on stock midpipe. truthfully i think the 2nd resonator cleared the rasp better than stock CAT. hope this helps.
