100 Octane
1 of these bad boy
well buddy i work full time jajaa and i have lots of mods on my car and i dont think its going to wast i wanted to try it and it running smooth Oo Ya it like 40 but i got it for 27Bucks almost 5.50 per Gal jajaa i think is like 3.50 for 91 oct.
what "bolt-ons" justify you usnig 100 octane??? You can have all the bolt ons you want, its the timing that needs to adjust to 100 octane, and theres no way you have enough "bolt-ons" short of FI to get the full potential out of 100 octane.
zzzz

hmm.... i don't see it justifying using 100 octane... but hey.. it's your money...
figured you could spend it elsewhere on upgrades or something... save you some money..
and yeah.. here's somthing i always post when people talk about octane..
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/autos/octane.htm
"As a rule, high octane gasoline does not outperform regular octane in preventing engine deposits from forming, in removing them, or in cleaning your car's engine."
and: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/fuelalrt.htm
"In most cases, using a higher octane gas than the manufacturer recommends offers no benefit. Unless your engine is knocking, buying higher octane gasoline is a waste of money."

But don't let me tell you what to do, experiment for yourself and waste a good deal of money if you don't believe me and what others are saying.

Also, im not sure if CAMCON adjust the timing, i know it can adjust the fuel/air ratio and adjust the cams, but i dont think it can adjust the timing.
This topic has been neaten to death, and the conclusion was always that anything higher than 87 for a non FI car was a waste of money. Your car isnt going to run any smoother on 100 octane than on 87.
None of the modifications that you have warrent an octane level higher than 87. I myself also have the K&N intake and DC header.

camcon works for about a day, and then the stock ECU learns to adjust to it, and you have stock timing again.

i think you need to know whats Camcon

I know what CAMCON is, its an VVT-I controller. It doesnt control the timing of the cylinders, it controls how the cams adjust. There is a difference.
