170k miles on a clutch....
Just hit 170k miles (50% stop and go traffic, 50% commuting about 100 miles a day since summer of 2004) and my clutch finally went out. Just wondering what you guys out there looked like before your stock clutch went out. And I ended up coppin' a clutchmasters hd00...anybody have this clutch in their car now?

my brother just passed 260k on his isuzu PU and still has factory clutch, i dunno how long its been run clutchless, that truck just wont die, we would replace it as the junkyard truck but cant find a reason too, some cars just keep clutches alive and some dont
No worries, I'm surprised it lasted that long, I beat the ____ out of it at drag racing and road racing events and on the street as well, so when it gave out, it finally gave me the excuse to upgrade. I now have 130K miles on my car(so about 30K on new set-up) and working just fine.
props man- toyota clutches are excellent if you know how to row it well, my fren's dad (an old taiwanese guy) has 240k off the factory clutch on his ancient rusting corolla. (and this is stop and go driving and parking in hilly sf).
