2AZ = 160hp. tC and "base" camry.
1MZ or 2MZ-fe = V6 camry, V6 avalon.
2JZ-FE - Inline 6 in IS300 and various other models.
2JZ-GTE- Legendary Turbocharged inline-6 in Supra.

There's the basic rundown.

The tC has never had a V6, but I really wish the upcoming FUSE-based model would.

I love the 2AZ. In my opinion, IS300's and others are ruined by the 2JZ

Yeah I saw that it runs the 2JZGE when I checked LexusLife... but if you google the 2JZ-FE it does come up with some IS-300 listings... Anybody know what the 2JZ-FE goes in?

On a side note.. Paul stupid question 5- speed or auto for you.. Im guessing 5 speed... but I did drive a 5 speed IS-300 the other day and man does it get up and go....

is there a 2JZ-FE motor?

Anything with a "JZ" denotes an inline 6. the 2JZ engine family uses a 3.0 liter inline 6 (2JZ-GE in GS300 + IS300 + mk4 NA Supra, 2JZ-GTE is twin turbo Supra). The 1JZ engine family uses a 2.5 liter inline 6 (1JZ-GTE in JDM mk3 supra and soarer).

i dont think there is a 2JZ FE. the F would denote that the DOHC is tuned for economy, where as the G in 2JZ GTE means that the DOHC is tuned for performance. once you learn to read the engine codes its easy. the 2JZ GTE is the second (2) motor in the JZ family. It is tuned for performance(G), turbocharged(T) and electronically fuel injected(E).
