Go to a speed shop and have em custom fab you a cold air intake for the S/C then get a NST pully, and post up your results.

sounds good, maybe you should think about another exhaust. the TRD sounds ok but it doesnt provide any hp gain. (yes i know a lot of the exhaust out there are axlebacks and wont show a large # of gains) maybe a custom headerback exhaust or somethin. IMO i wouldnt waste my money on the TRD exhaust. i hear the HKS exhaust sounds good with a header. thats the exhaust im gonna go with when i get the money (along with the alphaworks header). are you goin all performance? what about body mods, like wheels or a body kit? or suspension upgrade. a nice set of coilovers would compliment the car with the S/Cer. just my $.02 congrats with the car and have fun with it and the $5k

i like the oem wheels, for now as far sus. and handling i think im just goin 2 put some strut bar on and for body wise might just get a urathane from kaminari, for audio just want some better sys.. we all know there kinda weak well..... atlease for me, and for drive train , might get stage 1 or 2 clutch flywheel and lsd that will cut the 1/4mile down a lil.. i just want 240-255whp!!

Does jersey have smog inspection? If so, a header is a no go for you. But if they don't, then this is what I would do with that extra money. MMW header (order now since they are handmade and take awhile to get), and draxas full exhaust. Get rid of both cats. and get MMW's new antifouler if it comes out or an o2 sim. Might need some custom fitting done with the draxas and MMW header....but that combo will probably net the best exhaust gains (and best gains beside s/c on the car). And, like others said, get a custom intake fabbed up after the s/c is in. Oh yeah....make sure exhaust is done BEFORE s/c is installed,

u mean make sure the header is on before s/c installed.. or you have to take it back off to get it on.

Exhaust you can do after s/c install

ya, I include the header as part of the exhaust system...maybe i'm wierd . Sorry I didn't get into detail about which exhaust part needed to be installed first.....makes no difference if you put the rest of it on later or at the same time. But if you are doing the header....why not the rest of the exhaust?

Since you are getting S/C I'd say get a aftermarket clutch. Also get a light weight flywheel. Get lowering springs.

Draxas Full Header Back Exhaust ($750, os sale till the end of the year for $625, this is the spipe and back)

Draxas is also currently developing a header that would pair up PERFECT with the rest of the draxas exhaust

so lets say $1000 for the full exhaust system

Dont do any pulleys, it will mess up your balance, your alternator will be messed up, ac, etc...

I would keep the air box the SC comes with (larger air box... good enough for now)

then with the other $1000 do suspension upgrades, springs, shocks, strut bars, and sway bars. its a little more then 1K for all that... but its something that should be done.

then eventually do a clutch upgrade... use the stock clutch till it goes... your not putting out too much power to need an upgrade... so use the stock one till it dies

ok, guyz i dont get my car until like mid end of dec. or mid jan.. so there for i think i would go with the draxas spipe and exhaust for now if its $650. and tigertc we do have smog emm.. but i dont have 2 worry about that until like 4 years from now. also im really waiting for draxas for headers, if they could get away with no cel it would be great if they dont i would sell it back out i dont want to deal wit cel. so... hopefully by next year early 2 mid year ill look around new jersey for a dyno and tell u wat i get at da wheels.. also im not lookin 4 much drop or anything i like da ride the way it is i know it would be nice 2 drop it and all but rememba when u sus. like breakaway sed u will be needing sum camber kit for dat

I'd suggest getting the SC, getting an overdrive pulley from NST, and spending the rest of the money on a nice suspension and good tires. Sleeper monster

If you do a subtle drop you dont need a camber kit.

I will be installing road magnet springs on my car very soon www.roadmagnet.com 1.5" drop all around

Let me know how those springs ride BrEaK_AwaY ... I am interested to learn more about a relatively new company. I had not heard of them before.

Will do, they have been making springs for over 100 years, and just got into the performance auto spring market. they are also only 1 block away from my office =]

Bonus...they are close by.

Over 100 years...I guess the 2003 number was the performance auto spring market date.

Cool...well keep us informed.
