Yeah I thought so too. Thought I saw it on TRDsparks.com sold with the injen CAI for an extra price or seperately for 40$ or something like that. I checked for it the other day and didn't see it again. I know I'm not going crazy.

Also Does AEM sell one of those dry charge filter covers? I know K&N sells them. If you buy it from showstoppersusa.com it comes free with the intake. I thinl injen sells one, and also some company that advertises in Modified Mag. If I bought the intake I would definately be perchasing one, and it woeld be nice if it said AEM, and not K&N on a AEM intake.

Here is what I mean, its the bag that covers the filter.

From Showstopperusa.com
Note: Drychargers are included in all Cold-Air intake systems. Provides added protection by repelling water from entering the intake tract.
Also can it convert to Short Ram? Sorry to ask again but bobody answered me.

I do have one question and being that I am in a desert, will a pre filter, sock or wrap be a good idea. AEM clearly labeled the filter to not oil it. For those that have CAI and have used the socks for the filter can provide some feedback would be most appreciated.

Just got my tracking number for the AEM intake. I'm gonna get it Thursday, and I'll probably install it no later than that Saturday. I'll be sure to post pics, since I got mine in blue.

Are there any dynos out there for this intake? It's supposed to outperform the Injen, but that's just hearsay. I wanna know the truth.

What do you guyd think the chances of us getting a V2 made for the tC? I really want this intake, but if there is a remote possibility of a V2 for the tC, a may just hold out. Not to mention, it would be great to get some dyno stats, or even better some comparison tests.

I would email AEM and ask the question, if the demand is there they may do it. It may also depend on the power deference from the CAI and the V2 version. If the whp is minimal, cost high and dilutes the sales of both models, it is not cost affective to AEM and not likely to be made. That is my take on it.

As to the dynos, if one of the CAI manufactures did a major brand shoot out off the CAI on the market and posted the results……well you see my point. It would be a challenge I would pose to one of the trade publications. Start emailing the editors!

Reckless, I want to see the blue when it is installed. Throw some pics up when your done.

I definitely will man. It should be here in a couple days and if it gets here Thursday morning, I'll probably install it that afternoon.

The pics will be here soon!
