AEM vs. INJEN
Well I didnt think that AEM would be able to pull off a cARB legal system but aparently they did... I was just wondering what is different about it and why it's leagl, is it possible they will give INJEN a CARB number soon?

Oh, loopholes
True.. I never cared really since I have lived in the central and upper midwest my whole driving life. We dont even have emissions checks or even inspection stickers :D Funny though, our cities (the twin cities is a great example) are probably some of the cleanest air cities I have ever been in. Of course geography plays a role in that. CA has a lot of areas where the smog gets trapped.
just wondering..why do we care if its carb legal? you shoulnt have to go through emissions till like 09..thats when mine is...why not just take the hour it takes to switch the stock box back in? correct me if im wrong but wont that be the only time yiou actually need to pass it?

NO INTAKE IS CARB APPROVED FOR THE tC!
Not Injen.
Not K&N.
Not Fujita.
Not TRD.
Not AEM.
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
End of discussion.
hey does anyone know if the AEM or the INJEN intakes come with the parts for a bypass valve just incase water gets into them? I know that the injen sits very low if it is CAI and if the AEM comes with this might make me want to get AEM.

But, as mentioned you can get the injen with it as well
