aftermarket header, should i?
so i have been in debate of getting an aftermarket megan racing header to go with my megan catback exhaust and fujita f5 exhaust. but a few thing sholding me back
i keep reading about cel's and what not, is there a way to avoid it?
will it sound raspy?
how much louder would a header add to the exhaust?
(yes i did search and couldnt find anything)

either you didn't search, or you really really suck at it.
CEL: search for antifouler or anti-fouler, or CEL eliminator, help brand spark plugs etc.
will it sound raspy: aftermarket header+ just about any off the shelf aftermartket exhaust= rasp, it is much louder. you fix this by having the exhaust fitted with resonators, roughly about 30 inches.

also i hope u mean the fujita intake...not exhaust. But yeah u need an antifouler trick for the cel...some headers come with the necessary equipment, or check racingsolution.com for theirs

Why not get NST underdrive pulley if your not so sure about header. You still need sway bar ...
If you want to go header dont get megan, either the tseudo 4-2-1 + spipe for 400 shipped. Or MMW 4-2-1 header + spipe + cel delete shipped for 480 to 510.
And if you go header your going to need to install a high flow 2.5 inch cat + resonator to kill the rasp.

and it'll make it that much louder? ok nvm i was looking for a little more power for
***** n giggles but if louder means i'll get ticketed non stop then.

well, i recently put on the supercharger, and weapon r header with my trd exhaust back in march, and so far i haven't have a problem. my exhaust is pretty loud, but not completely unbearable. and i haven't been ticketed yet, and believe me, i go through lots of police speed traps.
but it is only loud during acceleration and downshifting, at cruising speeds, it mellows out.

dude I have header +s-pipe, and a magnaflow cat-back exhaust.....and my car scream like a damn civic....do your self a favor if you do decide to get the header get a resonator.....cause I can't wait till I buy mine this weekend.......DAMN CIVIC!!!!

haha ya that's why i kept searching for answers about rasp cuz i get enoug ish for having a scion let alone dont wanna sound like a honda. so the resenator in my catback won't be enough i'll need another?
( ya i just wait to get pulled over for exhaust here cuz cops would rather pull over others than the ghetto, donks n drug dealing, hell my written warning was exhaust on the highway)
