Default air/fuel ratio gauge

ok guys ive searched here and everywhere else and ive got a narrowbad a/f gauge. i know everybody is pushing widebands because theyre more accurate but for now im gonna use this til i can aford a wideband. all i want to know isif the motor is running rich or lean. i know this gauge will do that because it worked on my 02 eclipse. it danced aroun and made pretty lights and stuff. but i need to know which wire to tap forthe signal. i cant find it anywhere. thanks

if you have no FI setup, a narrowband should do for basic AFR monitoring - you might as well just use a scangauge or dashhawk in that case though - iirc the dashhawk can do limited datalogging as well...

wow, you guys are SOOOO helpful when answering questions for those who don't know... which is why I'm here. I know enough about wideband and narrow band o2 sensors to know that my xB has a narrow band, considering I have the toyota service manual on my laptop, I just need to know what the signal wire is. I'll just test and make a new post. Thanks.
