Default Air fuel sensor or O2 Sensor?

hey guys. i installed my megan racing header about 2 days ago. And the sensor on the side of the header stripped out when i took it OUT of the stock header, yes, took it out. it came out perfectly straight, not crooked or anything. it came out smooth about halfway, then started to get alittle tougher the last half of the threads. i thought maybe it was b/c of some sort of build up, then i looked at the threads and it looks as though metal clumped up somewhat around the threads and started to strip it out. anyways, i was wondering which sensor this was so i can order me a new one.

As far as we've been able to tell, with everyone else who's had this problem, is that it's proprietary and must be replaced with a toyota OEM sensor.... Call mcgeorges toyota or sparks toyota... they seem to have the best prices around for us SL people.

try to talk to someone at the dealership (mechanic)
I got one for cheap because i talked to someone and they can put it as a warranty part and you just give them side money. Try that first.

9 out of ten toyotas called the first 02 sensor an a/f sensor, i know this because im an auto tech and its a common problem of the toyota 4 bangers (not stiping it out) just then going bad after the years. the only time its called an 02 depends on if its federal epa emissons or california emissons i believe a/f is cali and 02 is fereral
