The Greddy Evo 2 is not a cat-back, they made a mistake. I HAVE IT! SOUNDS GREAT THOUGH! Just wish it was a catback

but thats not what it says in there website. it says right on there that it is a catback...this is from the site....GReddy redesigned the SP as a full stainless steel cat-back exhaust system that is similarly priced to the original SP system. The new SP2 features a 304 stainless steel muffler canister with extra strong 430 SS end caps that feature a deep, high polish. Large, high volume mufflers provide maximum flow with a deep, pleasing tone and are especially effective when used on vehicles with aftermarket turbocharger systems.

If you don't have to modify the stock tC exhaust to put on any exhaust system (read no cutting or just bolt on), then it's an axle-back exhaust. In order to put a real cat-back exhaust on the tC, you have to cut the pipe directly behind the catalytic converter to install the new piping. If you look at the stock exhaust, you will see that the only connection between the cat and the rest of the exhaust behind the cat is at the axle (hence all the axle-back exhausts).

You can also take a look at the Greddy exhaust and compare it to a real cat-back. Here is an excerpt from www.creativecompacts.com custom cat-back:
Featuring 2.5" Mandrel Bent Piping, our Cat Back kits provide Horsepower gains for those not looking to replace their entire exhaust system, yet still changing the overall sound.
Since this kit is Catback kit, it will not void any factory warranty and is emissions legal.
Available in Aluminzied or Stainless Steel.

Will Require one cut to be made on stock exhaust, then bolt on. No Welding.
Emissions Legal - Retains Main Cat on Car.

You can't always believe everything you see on the internet. We aren't trying to bash you, or Greddy. We're just trying to correct a lot of misinformation that is out there. Also, we're trying to prevent a lot of disappointment.
